Henleigh had to go to the emergency vet tonight for the first time in her life. It was very scary. She vomited 4 times in 1.5 hours and I was really scared. They tested her for pancreatitis, but that came back negative, thank God!! However, they did give her rehydration fluids, and anti-nausea medicine. She vomited when we got home, but she seems to be sleeping fine now. I stayed up two hours after we got home to make sure the medicine kicked in and she is sleeping ok. I love this dog so much, I don't know what I would do if something happened to my dear baby girl. I love her sooo much.
I was slightly mad at her this morning for refusing to stop peeing in the floor even when I yelled at her. I suppose it's my fault for not taking her out at all though. I was too sick from strep throat and actually even forgot Henleigh had needs too today. I felt awful, so I didn't give her too much crap for it. I learned my lesson, she is going out first thing in the morning tomorrow. It didn't help that the clothes she peed on in the floor were white. Yay. I hope it came out. I put the clothes straight into the washer. Anyway, I need to get some sleep. It has been a long night with Henleigh bear, and we both are tired. We have a follow up visit with her primary vet in the morning, wish us luck and that Henleigh will be ok and stop vomiting!!
